Tour information
Most tours are available with daily departures. We further offer several seat-in-coach tours with fixed departure dates. Since flight schedules vary from day to day, schedules of sightseeing tours may sometimes require adjustment. Although VIP tour Asia offers a selection of accommodation at various hotels, it may not always be possible to confirm accommodation as requested due to very limited room capacities during certain periods and certain parts of Asia. Alternative accommodation can in some cases be at sub-standard hotels, which lack essential facilities. No refunds can be made for any shortcomings related to accommodation there. Visa fees are not included in the tour prices. Quote is included the English speaking guide only. (French, Italian, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Russian speaking guides can also be arranged at additional cost - subject to availability).

Important notice
We further would like to advise that, because of frequent flight changes and cancellations by certain airlines and visiting places close for maintenance/ seasonal reasons, we cannot fully guarantee that the proposed itinerary can be carried out as planned if any. Based on our experience changes of departure times and/or cancellations can occur at very short notice even after confirmations for a flight have been received. Same applies for train travel - schedule changes occur frequently and sometimes without prior notification.

In case of schedule changes or flight cancellation we will always try everything human possible to arrange an alternate program within the framework of the original quoted costs. However we reserve the right to charge any cost exceeding the original budget to the tour operator/travel agent or to the participant of a tour after consultation with the agent.

Day 01  Arrive Hong Kong (D)
Enjoying the famous reputation as a shopping paradise, Hong Kong makes you purchase plenty of high-quality products without tariff. You may find what you want according to the differentiation of the markets. For example, you may find luxury brands in Tsim Sha Tsui and you may go for Japanese products in Causeway Bay. Moreover, you may find some treasure in Mong Kok.

Day 02  Hong Kongn tour (B)
Victoria Peak: Located in the Midwest District on Hong Kong Island, Victoria Peak is the highest point in Hong Kong, rising a third of a mile into the waiting sky.

As early as 19th century, the Peak attracted non-native, prominent residents because of its panoramic view over the colony and its temperate climate compared to the sub-tropical climate in the rest of Hong Kong. The sixth Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Richard MacDonnell had a summer residence built on the Peak circa 1868. These original residents reached their homes by sedan chairs, which were carried up and down the steep slope of Victoria Peak. This limited development of the Peak until the opening of the Peak Tram funicular in 1888. The boost to accessibility caused by the opening of the Peak Tram created demand for residences on the Peak. Between 1904 and 1930, the Peak Reservation Ordinance designated the Peak as an exclusive residential area reserved for Europeans and government officials. They also reserved the Peak Tram for the use of such passengers during peak periods. The Peak remains an upmarket residential area, although residency today is based on wealth.
Repulse Bay, located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, is the most spectacular bay in the region. Its name comes from a 19th century battle in which the British army repulsed attacking pirates. Today, Repulse Bay is a luxurious residential area for dining, relaxation, and aquatic activities.

Fishing boats ranging from the traditional Chinese sailing boats to the luxuriously furnished modern ships fill the bay. Visitors can catch a glimpse of the boat dwellers that live in Aberdeen bay, and see their sampans scuttling to and fro. To enjoy this lively and bustling scene, take a 30 minute boat trip through the harbor or for a negotiated fee, a sampan operator (mostly elderly ladies) will take you speedily through the harbor. The famous Jumbo Floating Restaurant and the Tai Bak (Tai Bei) Seafood Boat are located at Aberdeen Harbour. Visitors can enjoy free travel by ferry boat to the restaurants to sample the delicious seafood available.
Stanley Market: Stanley Market is located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island.

Stanley's Chinese name is Chek Chu, and it was the largest settlement on Hong Kong Island when the British arrived in the mid-19th century .A census in 1841 recorded 4350 people living on HK Island (at least 2000 more lived on boats) - around 2000 of them were Stanley residents. Then, too, there was a "very good bazaar", though it evidently supplied sea-faring people; large fleets of fishing boats berthed at Chek Chu. Like the sailing junks on many a market stall painting, Stanley's fishing boats are long gone. The busy market has always attracted people but now you don't go there to buy fish, but to get t-shirts and other tourist souvenirs.

Day 03  Hong Kong - Macau (B)
Goddess of Mercy Temple: Goddess of Mercy Temple, also known as the Kun Iam Temple, is the oldest organized temple in Macau, originating in the 1400's. The current temple buildings date to a reconstruction that was undertaken in 1627. It is perhaps the most impressive of Macau's three old temples. It is architecturally Buddhist.

A statue of Kun Iam (the Chinese Goddess of Mercy) adorns the main hall; she is attired in embroidered silk and wears a crown. Her 18 wise men stand close by, and because their appearance is somewhat Western there is speculation that they are modeled on Marco Polo. Kun Iam Hall is the most important hall of the temple. But there are three main halls at the temple. The Hall of the Three Precious Buddhas, the Hall of the Buddha of Longevity, and the Hall occupied by the statue of Kun Iam.

Ruins of St. Paul's: Ruins of St. Paul's: It is located in the Macao Special Administrative Region. It was built from 1582 to 1602 by the Jesuits. The cathedral was the largest Catholic Church in Asia at the time, and the royalty of Europe competed with each other to bestow upon the cathedral the best gifts. When Macau was not the main port for the Pearl River Delta, the cathedral's fortunes similarly ebbed, and it was destroyed by a fire during a typhoon in 1835.

Day 04  Macau - Hong Kong - Departure (B)
The Macau Special Administrative Region, commonly known as Macau or Macao is one of the two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China, the other being Hong Kong. Macau lies on the western side of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong province in the north and facing the South China Sea in the east and south. The territory has thriving industries such as textiles, electronics and toys, and a notable tourist industry. This makes it one of the richest cities in the world.
